How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data:

In-App Request

Use the contact form within our app:

  1. Open the FRIDAYi Instagram posting app
  2. Navigate to Settings > Privacy
  3. Select "Request Data Deletion"
  4. Fill out the deletion request form
  5. Submit your request

Deletion Process Timeline

Request Submission

We will acknowledge your deletion request within 24 hours of receipt.

Identity Verification

We may request additional verification to ensure the request is legitimate.

Data Deletion

Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of verification.

Confirmation

You will receive confirmation once the deletion process is complete.

Data Retention Policy

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services:

  • Active accounts: Data is retained while your account is active
  • Inactive accounts: Data is automatically deleted after 12 months of inactivity
  • Legal requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law
  • Backup systems: Deleted data may remain in backups for up to 90 days

Exceptions to Deletion

Please note that we may be unable to delete certain data in the following circumstances:

  • Data required for legal compliance or regulatory requirements
  • Data necessary for fraud prevention or security purposes
  • Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be linked to you
  • Data stored in backup systems (will be deleted within 90 days)
